#Urban and #near-urban #farming can be highly #productive, causing whatever size of #land you have to work with to produce with more abundance. It is time to #solve #hunger #worldwide, through #creating #local #food #abundance.... Anyone can do it, once you #learn how.

Inherit The Dust

Photography by Nick Brandt

In a series of panoramas, the new photos show the impact of man in places where African animals used to roam, but no longer do. In each location, a life size panel of a (previously unreleased) animal portrait is erected, setting it within a world of explosive urban development. (The panels were genuinely there on location).

The people within the photographs are oblivious to the presence of the panels and the animals featured in them, which are now no more than ghosts in the landscape.

NICK BRANDT | Inherit the Dust: Nick Brandt Photographs

In a series of photographic panoramas shot in East Africa, Nick Brandt records the impact of man in places where animals used to roam, but no longer do.
